Welcome to PhilippineHandCrafts.com!

Hello, my name is Dolores.  I am originally from the Philippines, and am now residing in the USA with my husband and family.

I have been making Philippine handcrafts for many years, and am now offering my own creations to the world.  No two items are exactly the same; each one is an original. I use hemp and cotton fiber yarns in my handbags and belts, and weave in beads made of colorful glass, semi-precious stones, carved bone, shell and wood.

I also import items that my family and friends in the Philippines make from natural materials native to the Philippines, like capiz (circlular, flat, iridescent shells), abaca fibers (made from the abaca plant), cogon and nito(native grasses) used for weaving baskets, fans and handbags, as well as carabao (water buffalo) horn for jewelry and culinary utensils.  There  are also many other natural materials my people have used traditionally, and still use today.

I will be adding these items and other items to this website over the coming months.

Please check back from time to time to see what new crafts have been added.

Thank you for your interest in PhilippineHandCrafts.com!
